Club rides are our foundation. We ask each member to choose a day and time convenient to them and lead one ride a year. Rides will be posted on the site and are open to any and all cyclists who are willing to follow our club rules. Unsure how to lead a ride? Don’t worry we’ll help you.
EPTC does have a specific race team. Members are selected by our coach and will work towards common race goals and events established at the beginning of the year. Most of our members are club riders and even though you are not on the team, it does not mean that you can’t race, go to the same events, or utilize our coaching and support.
We are called the East Point Track Club. Our club was originally created to run and support the Dick Lane Velodrome. While we have expanded the other things, our roots still run deep at the velodrome and it is still the foundation of our club. You don’t have to ride or race at the velodrome, but we ask all club members to help support it through promotion, volunteering or racing.
While our foundation is the velodrome, we support and encourage all types of bike riding. Whether you like to ride to work, the grocery store, the local pub – or ride a cruiser, fixie, mountain bike, tandem, road or track bike, we love it all.
